Uniquely Ours, the women's division of DATA is dedicated to providing educational and social opportunities to women of all backgrounds as a means of enhancing the understanding and appreciation of the value of women's roles and mitzvos.
As Jewish Women we share questions, interests and issues that are unique to us. Uniquely Ours provides an array of opportunities for women looking for answers, encouragement, and information to find any of these and much, much more.
We offer one on one study sessions as well as group classes on most any topic of choice. We host a monthly "Rosh Chodesh Shiur" (class) given by prominent speakers in the community.
Some of our most popular programs are those that involve an opportunity to learn more about an aspect of Judaism while having a good time! For example - we recently hosted a lecture on the meaning and significance of Kosher food, followed by a chef's demonstration on Gourmet Kosher Cooking. (An article on the event, featured in Dallas Jewish Week, is included below.)
Uniquely Ours is a special opportunity for women from across the Jewish spectrum to come together in a warm, open atmosphere, to grow together in our Judaism, and to appreciate the bond we all share as Jewish women.
